Alice Concierge

Mapping priority problems for 5 star hotel users

The project aimed to pinpoint UX problems in the well stabilished app for concierges – Alice Concierge.

In order to map all problems and prioritize by categories of severity, a research strategy was developed with the design team. It involved menthoring talks with the team, analysis of previouws research reports and recordings, analysis of live interactions with the system, structured scripts for interviews and think-aloud protocol planning. All interviews and think-aloud processes were executed online with concierges everywhere, from Los Angeles and Las Vegas to Tokyo. Mapped results were categorized by heuristics and severity to help action decisions.
